Karen Young
Hi. I'm Karen. I was born in London, where I worked and completed a City & Guilds qualification in Interior Design.
After leaving my corporate job of 22 years, I decided to launch my own jewellery business. Using my love of creative design, I produced and retailed my own pieces and taught jewellery design in my own workshops and at college for over 10 years.
But I never lost sight of my main passion for interior design and have spent the last 8 years working on homes in London, Surrey, Cambridgeshire, and, currently, beautiful Norfolk.
My Caribbean heritage has always inspired my love of bold colours, natural light and relaxed warmth. My favourite colour is teal as it reminds me of the sea in Barbados. My signature style is modern luxe, combining the chic sophistication of London living with the comfort and character that make homes in Norfolk and Suffolk so special, but not at London prices...
I absolutely love all aspects of Interior design and believe it should be both inspiring and achievable for everyone. In my spare time, I love baking and French patisserie and travelling (when I can!) and am currently doing a course in Garden Design, so watch this space…
Pearl Mollokwu
Hi, I’m Pearl. I am a qualified graphic designer and gained my City and Guilds qualifications in painting and decorating, specialising in wallpapering installations.
I have over 20 years experience in painting and decorating, working in London hotels and many high-end properties installing various types of wallpaper finishes. In 2020, I was featured in Channel 4’s ‘How to Save a Grand in 24 hours’ show as the wallpaper specialist.
I am a creative person and have a deep interest in paper crafts. My artistic journey started from childhood, and my mum always encouraged my creative pursuits. I am an animal and nature lover and share my home with two Brussels Griffon dogs who I adore. They inspire me daily and bring joy to my life.
